For a dozen years now, 94-year-old Buddy Grover has donned his light keeper’s cap and coat to climb the stairs of the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey. Buddy greets his visitors at the lighthouse with tales of the tower’s historic past. He says his time in the Marine Corps and decades as a letter carrier prepared him for this position.
