ภัมทด𝗧𝗘, 𝟯:2𝟱 𝗠: All progress of the fire has stopped. Firefighters are on scene, including resources from ODF, the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, and BLM Oregon & Washington.
ODF Type 3 and 2 helicopters are also in the area and have been making water drops. Cleaning work will begin shortly.
𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗧𝗘, 2:𝟱0 𝗣𝗠: Firefighters were on their way to the lower Rogue River community of Marial Monday afternoon, where a fire was confirmed to be burning heavy timber.
According to a 2:50 p.m. update on the Oregon Department of Forestry’s Southwest District Facebook page, its Type 3 and Type 2 helicopters had arrived at the Rogue River Ranch Fire.
From the air, it was estimated to be a 10th of an acre burning in heavy wood.
Numerous resources continued to advance towards the fire, including several engines, a water tender, excavator, helicopters and a Helitack crew.
Douglas Forest Protective Association and Coos Forest Protective Association were also sending resources, including CFPA’s Type 3 helicopter and Helitack crew.
