What?
The Jackson County Republican Party is apparently as strange as the GOP, all un-American. They will believe anything. Show us some facts and evidence!

Find a solution
The current discussions about the future prospects of Oak Knoll Golf Course remind me of a similar situation years ago involving Mt Ashland Ski Area.
Then, as now, money was the problem. It seems clear that providing Oak Knoll with an adequate and reliable water source requires finding a new source of revenue as well as a new source of water.
Tapping into the existing aquifer that could supply the necessary water would be an economic and political challenge. To begin with, “getting in line” to access this water source would take some work. Also, drilling multiple wells would be expensive.
However, as demonstrated with Mount Ashland, where there’s a will there’s a way. Public funding for these types of projects is available from a variety of sources. “Self-liquidating” revenue bonds are often used. I would suggest that someone from the Ashland Parks Department take the initial step of selecting volunteers to create a task force to examine this situation and make appropriate recommendations. Simply doing nothing is not the answer!

A very dangerous slope
“Local Republicans Officially Reject Biden’s Win”: Republicans or Democrats, this headline should get your attention!
A local office, with what I believe to be a group of “sensible” people, have actually rejected a duly elected president elected by popular vote and the Electoral College. Republican or Democrat, I think this is very dangerous territory.
Timon’s words (of “The Lion King” fame) ring strong: “And everyone agrees with that? DID I MISS SOMETHING?”
