Kerala vlogger’s husband held back, police say he was a minor at the time of marriage
The husband of Malayali vlogger Rifa Mehnu, who was found dead at her Dubai residence on March 1, was arrested on Thursday.
A police official said Mehnaz was arrested from Nileswaram in Kasaragod district under the POCSO Act as Rifa Mehnu was found to be a minor at the time of her marriage.
Rifa’s body was exhumed from Kakkur Pavandur Juma Masjid, where she was buried, on May 7, after her family raised doubts about her death and her mother lodged a complaint.

Navy’s all-female crew conducts maiden mission in Arabian Sea

In a first, an all-women navy crew conducted an independent maritime surveillance and reconnaissance mission in the northern Arabian Sea aboard a Dornier 228 aircraft, the Indian Navy announced on Thursday, saying that women had “made history”.

NTA postpones CUET-UG in Kerala due to heavy rains

Andhra CM Jagan disburses ₹395 cr among small traders

According to the chief minister’s office, the plan envisages ₹10,000 each to small traders, vendors and artisans and so far the state government has provided ₹2,011 million to 1,503,558 families in the self-employment promotion plan.
