UPDATE: 4 people shot dead in Butler Twp. neighborhood, says the police chief
BUTLER TWP. – UPDATE at 4 p.m.:
Butler Twp. Police confirm four people were shot and killed in multiple scenes in a neighborhood Friday morning, according to Police Chief John Porter.

Porter identified Stephen Marlow, 39, as a person of interest in the shooting. Marlow has been described as 5′11″ and 160 pounds. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing shorts and a yellow shirt.
Marlow was last seen in a white 2007 Ford Edge with Ohio license plate number JES 9806.
Porter said he should not approach Marlow if he is seen and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 immediately.

UPDATE at 2:35 p.m.:
At least two people are dead after a reported shooting in a Butler Twp. neighborhood late Friday morning, according to family members who spoke to News Center 7.
A man who spoke to our news team identified himself as the father and grandfather of two people who died in the incident on Hardwicke Place. The man said he had learned his daughter and teenage granddaughter were dead.
Officers at the scene have not confirmed whether anyone was killed in the incident and have so far declined to provide details. Dispatchers have only confirmed to News Center 7 that the investigation is active and that medics were called to the scene. It is unknown if other victims have been found and what their conditions are.

A large police investigation continues in Butler Twp. neighborhood more than two hours after officers and medics were called to reports of a shooting.
Police at the scene have so far refused to provide further details to our teams. Dispatchers have only confirmed to News Center 7 that police were on the scene investigating and medics were also called. The nature of the investigation was not disclosed by dispatchers.
Emergency scanner traffic indicated a shooting was reported around 11:40 a.m. at a home on Hardwicke Place. Dispatchers and police have not confirmed if any victims have been located or their current conditions.
A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office incident command vehicle has arrived at the scene, according to our crews.

Multiple police officers have responded to an investigation in a Butler Twp. home after reports of a shooting late Friday morning, according to dispatchers and initial reports.

Butler Twp. police dispatchers confirmed officers were called to a home on Hardwicke Place around 11:40 a.m. Dispatchers could not confirm to News Center 7 the nature of the investigation.
Emergency traffic reports a shooting at the home at the same time. It was not known if any victims were located or what their conditions are. At least one medical unit was called to the scene for a report of a shooting victim, according to emergency scanner traffic.
