Save America paid Hervé Pierre Braillard $60,000, according to FEC records. Experts said the payments are allowed through a loophole that the FEC won’t close. The Jan. 6 committee has looked into the use of Save America to push debunked voter fraud claims.
The fund affiliated with former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election paid $60,000 to a fashion designer known for designing Melania Trump’s wardrobe when the couple was in the White House.
The Let’s save America the political action committee distributed the money to Hervé Pierre Braillard four payments from April 7 and until June 24, according to records submitted to the Federal Electoral Commission. The committee reported that these payments were all for “strategic advice.” It is not clear what they paid the money for.
