COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly damaged 705 cars by smashing their windows over several days at A1 Auto.
A Boone County prosecutor has charged Cody Boehmer with two counts of first-degree criminal damage to property and two counts of first-degree trespassing.
According to court documents, Boehmer and another person allegedly entered the lot overnight on July 26 and July 30.
The owner estimated the damage at $500 per vehicle, for a total value of $350,000.
Boehmer is being held in the Boone County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond, according to online court records.
Boehmer does not have a defense attorney currently listed according to online court records.
