VICTORIA, Texas – Deputies with the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office are charging four subjects with operating an illegal gambling den.
At 12:31 a.m. Wednesday, the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous call of a fight in progress at a business in the 8700 block of Hwy 59 S.
Deputies arrived and determined there was no fight or assault. While on site, an investigation determined that the site was an illegal arcade.
At this time, officials are obtaining a search warrant and four subjects are in custody. Law enforcement has charged the subjects with three counts of operating an illegal arcade and one count of drug charges.
The Victoria County Sheriff’s Office will provide an update once the investigation is complete.
