Arrests for crimes

Theft – Ila Ann Ashker, 49, of the 3000 block of Falcon City Street, White City. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Ashker Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree burglary, first- and second-degree criminal trespass and first-degree criminal mischief. Ashker was being held Friday in the Jackson County Jail without bond.

Theft – Jason Lee Cheatham, 33, a transient from Redmond. Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cheatham Friday on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree kidnapping, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment. Cheatham was held at the jail without bond.

Do not report – Gerald Andrew Frigaard, 39, a transient from Ashland. Central Point police arrested Frigaard Thursday on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender and Friday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Frigaard was held at the jail without bond.

Theft – Christopher Lee Law, 65, of the 1600 block of Peacy Road, Ashland. Law was arrested by Ashland police Friday on charges of second-degree theft, identity theft, third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was not listed at the jail on Saturday.

Theft – Brady Eileen Morehouse, 47, of the 14000 block of Antioch Road, White City. Medford police arrested Morehouse Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, theft and criminal trespass. Morehouse was held at the jail without bond.

sexual abuse – Tyler Allen Potter, 30, of the 300 block of Ivy Street, Medford. Borough police arrested Potter Thursday on charges of first- and third-degree sexual assault, harassment with sexual contact and misdemeanor harassment. Potter was released from jail on bond.

Theft – Arien Unique Sanders-Villa, 39, of the 600 block of E. Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Sanders-Villa Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree theft. Sanders-Villa was held at the jail without bond.

domestic abuse – David Flynn Saunders, 35, of the 1600 block of W. Stewart Street, Medford. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Saunders on Friday for felony strangulation, domestic abuse and misdemeanor strangulation. Saunders was held at the jail on $5,000 bond but was not charged on the misdemeanor count.

Illegal use – Daniel Croz Vargara, 30, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Vargara Thursday on charges of unlawful use of a deadly weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. Vargara was not listed in jail Saturday and court records say no charges were filed on either count.

Unauthorized use – James Justin Wearden, 48, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Wearden Thursday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and menacing. Wearden was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.
