Rajasthan: BJP to protest today for law and order
The Bharatiya Janata Party will protest in Jaipur on Saturday over the law and order issue in the state, a party spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the party will take out a rally from 10 am from Shaheed Memorial to the Prime Minister’s residence under the leadership of state BJP president Satish Poonia.
The demonstration will be against increasing atrocities on women, illegal mining, crime against seers and cases of mob lynching, he said.
BJP president JP Nadda will address the rallies in Himachal’s Sirmour
BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda will address two public meetings in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmour district on Saturday, the party’s state unit president Suresh Kashyap said.
Rallies will be held at Paonta Sahib and Nahan, Kashyap said on Friday.
Jharkhand: Heavy rain likely, ‘red alert’ issued for some districts
The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a “red alert” for parts of Jharkhand where heavy rains are likely from Friday evening due to the impact of a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal, according to said news agency PTI.
