Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence in Napa County court.
TMZ reported Tuesday that Pelosi, 82, pleaded guilty to a DUI charge.
He was sentenced to three years probation and five days in jail, getting credit for time served.
As part of his probation, the House speaker’s husband must complete eight hours of a court work program and take a three-month driving and alcohol course.
You must also put an ignition interlock device in your vehicle for one year.
Pelosi was fined $150, TMZ said.
Pelosi ran into legal trouble over a May 28 incident in California’s wine country.

Officers said Pelosi’s eyes appeared “red and watery.” “He was unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath,” a court document said.

California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene at 10:00 p.m. on May 28 and found Pelosi sitting in the front seat of her car reeking of booze.
Pelosi was on her way to the couple’s vineyard home in St. Helena.
The other driver, Jesus Lopez, 48, had minor injuries in the crash, and told investigators the next day that he had pain in his upper right arm, right shoulder and back, and who suffered from headaches.

Napa County Prosecutor Allison Haley waited weeks to charge Pelosi, finally charging Pelosi on June 23 with two misdemeanors: one count of DUI causing injury and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level of 08% or more that caused injury.
Pelosi’s blood-alcohol content was 0.82 percent, according to court documents.
During an earlier court date, Pelosi’s attorney pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Pelosi, who did not attend the hearing, also waived her right to a jury trial.
A plea conference was scheduled for Tuesday morning, where he later pleaded guilty.
