Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at a memorial honoring those who died in World War II. Lavrov said that Russia will defend “historical truth” and “the legitimate interests of Russia” ahead of Russia’s upcoming annual Victory Day on May 9.
