First responders are investigating reports of an incident in Derry Township. Westmoreland County dispatch confirms medics and fire crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Y Street. The first call came in at 8:35 p.m. One person is being taken to hospital by medical helicopter. According to the office, the victim is suffering from burn injuries. Grain elevator collapse at Tynan
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Emergency crews are on the scene of a grain elevator collapse in Tynan, Bee County, Tuesday evening. The Bee County Sheriff’s Office reports two grain elevators have collapsed and several people were trapped inside. At 6:40 p.m., two people were rescued from the collapse and sent to area hospitals. Choctaw police said an 8-year-old boy fought back after his 14-year-old brother accidentally shot him Tuesday afternoon outside a Walmart. The shooting happened at the Walmart near Northeast 23rd Street and North Henney Road. The 911 call was made around 2 p.m., Choctaw Police Chief Kelly Marshall said.
