CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Emergency crews are on the scene of a grain elevator collapse in Tynan, Bee County, Tuesday evening.
The Bee County Sheriff’s Office reports two grain elevators have collapsed and several people were trapped inside.
At 6:40 p.m., two people were rescued from the collapse and sent to area hospitals.
Crews at the scene are still searching for another who is believed to be still trapped under the debris.
The collapse happened on Highway 359 between Mathis and Skidmore.
KRIS 6 News has learned that crews from several counties have responded to the scene as well as Halo-Flight.
