A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash along US-169 in Tulsa
Emergency crews were called to the scene of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Tulsa Wednesday morning. According to police, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of US-169 at 81st Street in South Tulsa. Police say it started when officers first received a call about a woman who was seen on the freeway around 9pm Tuesday night. When officers attempted to contact her, she fled into a nearby wooded area. Police say they then left the scene, because the woman had done nothing wrong. Emma Tetewsky, 31, of Stoughton, was last seen by her family at noon Monday near her residence in the area of Mill Street. . Tetewsky was later reported missing on Wednesday.
