BOSTON – Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron is retiring from the National Hockey League after 19 seasons in Boston. “It is with all my heart and much gratitude that I announce my retirement as a professional hockey player today.” Bergeron said in a statement posted on the Bruins’ official website. In nearly 1,300 games with the Bruins, the 38-year-old forward scored 427 goals, had 613 assists and totaled 1,040 points. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 1:29 p.m EAST ORANGE, New Jersey (WABC) — A brief police chase ended in a fiery crash in East Orange Tuesday morning. The crash happened just before 6 a.m. at Springdale and Midland avenues. NewsCopter 7 video of the scene showed an East Orange police patrol car and a gray 2011 BMW sedan that had collided at the intersection. Both vehicles sustained serious damage. DA investigating after body washes up on Salisbury beach – Boston 25 News
SALISBURY, Mass. — An investigation is underway after a body washed up on a beach in Salisbury early Tuesday morning, authorities said. According to Essex District Attorney Paul F. Tucker, a person walking along Salisbury Beach noticed a man’s body floating along the shoreline near 4 Ocean Front Drive. Salisbury police responded to the scene, brought the man’s body to shore and pronounced him dead. His name has not been released.
