St. Petersburg police are investigating what they said was a drug lab at a waterfront home in the city’s Venetian Isles neighborhood Sunday afternoon. Several fire trucks and emergency vehicles were at the scene at 2063 Illinois Ave NE as a precaution, police said, as some of the substances can be volatile. The Pinellas County 911 department classified the incident as a “hazardous materials emergency,” but police said there was no danger to nearby properties and no one has been evacuated. Beijing – Honduras opened an embassy in Beijing on Sunday, Chinese state media reported, months after the Central American nation severed ties with Taiwan to establish diplomatic ties with China. TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – According to Lt. Farley of the Tulsa Police Department, a man died in a suspected drowning incident in the early morning hours of June 11th. The incident happened in Whiteside Park near South Pittsburg Avenue and East 38th Street.
