CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Police are investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in north Charlotte Monday evening. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), the incident happened around 7:30 pm in the 2200 block of Prestigious Lane, which is in the Legacy Park Apartments off of Mallard Creek Road. Once at the scene, officers located the male victim, described as a “young man,” in a hallway. Investigators are working to identify a suspect in the case, but are asking for the public’s help.
