George Santos, the New York Republican famous for fabricating key parts of his life story, was arrested Wednesday on federal criminal charges ahead of an expected court appearance. Rescuers were called to Duquesne Place this morning, the same area where an apartment complex fire displaced 35 residents last week. Officials confirmed a fire in the 1600 block of Duquesne Place. No injuries have been reported. Police, fire and emergency services were called around 5:15am. We saw the fire marshal at the scene.
