Shortly before 4:25 p.m. CT Saturday, the Allen Police Department said those law enforcement officers were at Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas, where there was an active investigation.
Authorities told people to avoid the area.

NBC 5 DFW said that there were reports of a shooting at the mall. US Rep. Keith Seif he said in a tweet that a shooter fell and there were multiple casualties at 5:17 pm CT Saturday.
“No further information was available as this story is still developing, but police confirm this is an active situation,” NBC said Saturday evening.
KRLD has learned that an active shooter, or possible shooters, were at an H&M store in the mall. Nearby shops closed.
There are reports that people were injured or killed, but numbers were not available as of 4:52 p.m. CT Saturday. A Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter has been deployed and surrounding police and fire departments have been called to assist.
