The Plant City Police Department is investigating a shooting on Interstate 4 Tuesday that killed a woman and seriously injured a man. A man called 911 around 9:12 p.m. and told dispatchers that he and his female passenger had been shot while driving on I-4, according to a news release from the police department. A 26-year-old man died in Naples after being wounded by shots fired during a night of celebrations sparked by Napoli winning their third Serie A title, media said on Friday. A 93-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on U.S. 301 near Wimauma, troopers said. A South Carolina beach partially filled with high school students participating in a “senior jump day” descended into chaos Friday afternoon as gunfire wounded at least five beachgoers.
