The mental health of LGBTQ youth is worsening in today’s political climate, according to the results of a national survey released Monday by The Trevor Project. Nearly one in three LGBTQ youth surveyed said their mental health was poor most of the time or always because of legislation and policies targeting the LGBTQ community in US states. Four people died Thursday in a small town in rural southern Georgia, including a fast-food worker and two relatives of a gunman who killed himself, the local coroner said. The shooter killed his mother and grandmother in two neighboring homes and killed a woman at a McDonald’s restaurant in downtown Moultrie, Colquitt County Coroner C.
