HUDSON, NH – Authorities are investigating the suspicious death of a woman who was found with a “traumatic” wound in New Hampshire Wednesday night.
Officers responding to a disturbance call at a home on Shoal Creek Road in Hudson around 9:45 p.m. found a woman in need of immediate emergency medical treatment, New Hampshire Attorney General John M Formella, New Hampshire State Police Chief Matthew S. Shapiro and Hudson Police Chief Tad Dionne said in a joint statement.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
“Based on the investigation to date, there does not appear to be any threat to the general public arising from this incident,” officials said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will schedule and perform an autopsy.
No additional details were immediately available.
