Maryland Lottery & Gaming generated a record $1.5 million this fiscal year

BALTIMORE – Maryland Lottery and Gaming said Monday it brought more than $1.5 billion to the state through the lottery, six casinos, sports betting and fantasy sports in fiscal year 2022, a record sum. Revenue supports state schools, public health, public safety and other state services. Boy rescued from Abington pool

A boy was rescued Monday after falling into a pool in Abington. The incident happened on Plymouth Street, according to Abington fire officials, who say they received a call that an approximately 2-year-old boy had been pulled from a pool. According to Abington Deputy Fire Chief Jack Glynn, an Abington fire dispatcher helped instruct a family member on how to perform CPR on the child.
