Waterbury police have arrested a man in connection with an attempted armed home invasion, according to police. Police received information that a suspect was attempting to force entry into a home on Valentino Drive with a firearm while the family was inside. Officers responded to the scene and collected evidence, they said. While patrolling the area, police found a man returning to a disabled vehicle matching the description of the vehicle involved and later confirmed his involvement in the attempted home invasion, police said.
