Arrests for crimes Forgery – David Louis Bertik, 45, of the 600 block of Queens Branch Road, Rogue River. Medford police charged Bertik Wednesday with new charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft and identity theft. Medford police arrested Bertik Monday on previous charges of identity theft and second-degree burglary, an out-of-county warrant and for violating his probation for possession of methamphetamine. He was also cited Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on earlier charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, first-degree attempted burglary and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
