There is a police standoff on Hawthorne Avenue in Albany. NewsChannel 13’s Dan Levy says police with rifles are forming a perimeter outside a home there. Person hospitalized after shooting in McKees Rocks – WPXI
MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. – One person was taken to hospital after a shooting in McKees Rocks on Thursday. According to police, emergency responders were called to the 100 block of Bell Avenue at 1:46 p.m. Once at the scene, emergency crews found an adult victim who had been shot in the foot and hand. A Centereach man who admitted beating a friend to death with a baseball bat when they were both 16 and then burying and then digging up his victim’s remains to move them to a neighbor’s yard was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison.
