Oklahoma City police are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred Sunday night on the city’s northwest side. Police said they responded to the scene around 11:58 p.m. at a home near Northwest 36th Street and Altadena Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a dead victim inside, who police said appeared to have been beaten to death. Police said investigators learned the suspect, 61-year-old Ernest Harlow, sent a text message to a family member saying he had killed the woman. Police were later notified of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Interstate 44, east of North Western Avenue. The…

Chris Bengston, recently named Dallas Pride Interim Executive Director The Dallas Pride Board of Directors announced this morning (Monday, June 5) that Caven Enterprises employee Chris Bengston will step in as Dallas Pride’s Interim Executive Director, effective immediately. “With over 30 years of event management experience, Bengston is well-known and respected by the LGTBQ+ community,” noted a press release announcing her appointment.
