St. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) – Residents of St. Charles to stay home Tuesday morning.
A county official told News 4 911 is overwhelmed with water rescue calls. He said there are many problems in the areas of St. Peters and O’Fallon.
The stay-at-home warning comes after a night of heavy rain in the area. Several roads have been closed due to water in the roadway in the area of St. Louis.
Thousands of power outages have been reported at Ameren Missouri in St. Charles from 6 in the morning
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is advising drivers not to travel on interstates in the counties of St. Charles and St. Louis until after rush hour, so the flooding has time to recede.
