Melissa Hall joined the 40/29 news team as a weekday breaking and traffic news anchor in June 2023.
This is a homecoming for Melissa as she grew up in Arkansas, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Mississippi State University .
Viewers will recognize Melissa from her on-air time at other stations in the Fayetteville-Fort Smith market before her most recent stop, Hearst Television’s WJCL in Savannah, Georgia. While in Savannah, Melissa worked as a meteorologist for three years and also produced weekly segments with local teachers.
