Man Killed In Weekend Shooting In Homewood Identified

PITTSBURGH – One man is dead after a shooting in Homewood.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 7200 block of Kelly Street around 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

Wilkinsburg police found a gunshot victim, later identified by the medical examiner’s office as 28-year-old Kyle Wilson, inside a vehicle in the 200 block of South Avenue while collecting evidence at the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Police are still investigating.
