Arrests for crimes
Avoid – Kelly Melissa Flick, 42, no known address. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Flick Thursday on two counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and a misdemeanor count of second-degree trespassing. She was being held Saturday in the Jackson County Jail without bond.
Use of Weapons – Michael David Chavez, 46, no known address. On Friday, Chavez entered an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a new count of unlawful use of a weapon. Chávez has been in jail since July 15 for first-degree arson. He was booked into jail Saturday without bail.
Strangulation – Kirk Joseph Gallup, 38, of the 14600 block of Antelope Road, White City. On Friday, Gallup entered a court appearance on a felony charge of strangulation that constituted domestic violence. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Gallup Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was jailed Saturday on $75,000 bond.
