1 person in critical condition after crash in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood
PITTSBURGH – A rollover accident occurred near UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood Monday afternoon.
According to Allegheny County 911, police, fire and EMS units were called to the intersection of Penn Avenue and 44th Street at 3:20 p.m.
Pittsburgh police initially said two people were injured in the crash, but later said only one person was injured. The sole occupant was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
