COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two Columbia men are now facing federal charges after investigators say they broke into a pharmacy and stole thousands of dollars worth of medication.

A new indictment accuses Reginald Jackson and James Jackson Junior of breaking into Kilgore’s Pharmacy on Chapel Hill Road on June 4.

Investigators say they have video of the robbery and a GPS tracker was also stolen. The tracker helped police go to the Ramada Inn in Conley.

The suspects are accused of taking various prescriptions including oxycodone, morphine, oxycotin and other schedule II controlled substances.

The total value of the drugs lost was reported to be $6,981.43, according to court documents.
