At least 10 people are dead after a fire tore through a home in Pennsylvania Thursday night where fourteen people lived.
Crews were called to the home early this morning in Nescopeck Township, Luzerne County.
Four people escaped alive, but ten – including children – are feared dead.
Among the firefighters fighting the fire is the grandfather of some of the victims.
“I couldn’t get in there to save them. That’s the biggest thing that’s ever happened to me… I couldn’t get in there to save them.
“We pulled up and the whole place was fully involved … we tried to get in but there was no way.
“I lost my son, my daughter, my grandson, two more grandsons, my father-in-law, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law. All lost.’
The victims ranged in age from 6 to 70, according to local police. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
