About 5 months after he was declared wanted, the Osun State Police Command in the early hours of Sunday arrested a suspected cultist, Rasheed Hammed, popularly known as Rasidi Oko’lu.
Reliable security sources told our correspondent that Oko’lu was arrested at his hideout in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, at about 4am by men of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Police Command d ‘Osun.
Oko’lu was declared wanted by the police in March, following the alleged death of a Senior National Diploma in Banking and Finance from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, while awaiting his summons letter, as well as a commercial motorcyclist, whose identities. they did not make themselves known during a fight in Ede.
The Osun Police Command Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, in a text message to our correspondent said: “Yes. We arrested him last night.”
