· Record line: In 1348, the Black Death hits the city of Florence hard. A handful of noblemen are invited to retreat with their servants to a large villa in the Italian countryside and wait for the pestilence to end with a luxurious vacation. But as social rules fray, what begins as a wine-soaked romp in the Tuscan hills descends into an all-out struggle for survival.

· Format / Episodes: Drama; 8 episodes

· Creator / Showrunner / Executive Producer: Kathleen Jordan (Teenage Bounty Hunters, American Princess)

· Executive Producers: Jenji Kohan (Glow, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Orange is the New Black), Blake McCormick and Tara Herrmann for Tilted Productions.

· Director/Executive Producer: Mike Uppendahl (Ratched, American Crime Story)

· Quotes:

· Jenji Kohan: “Kathleen Jordan is the real deal. I’m so excited and grateful to be working with her and to be able to make this great, funny, timely and weird show together for Netflix.”

· Kathleen Jordan: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Jenji, Tara, Blake and Netflix again. I can’t wait for people to meet this ridiculous group of characters. I’m sure Giovanni Boccaccio would. . .confused?”
