EPCOT has always been a place where education takes center stage. Nobody does “edutainment” like EPCOT. From attractions that put you right in history to international festivals and cultural representatives from around the world to educate and inspire, EPCOT truly sparks the imagination. The lovely extras (specially ticketed tours and encounters) are where this park shines.
Since the closure due to Covid in 2020, these events have been slow to return, but we are very excited to announce that three extremely popular extras will be returning to enthrall guests on 2 October 2022, just in time for the 40th anniversary from Parks. !
Behind the seeds

For Living With the Land fans and backyard growers everywhere, this tour is a must! The one-hour walking tour gives guests an up-close-and-personal view of crops from around the world. During the tour, you’ll learn firsthand about innovative farming techniques and how EPCOT is leading sustainable farming practices. The sights, smells and tastes of this experience make this tour a must! Bonus: At just $35 per person, it’s also one of the most affordable tours offered at Walt Disney World!
EPCOT Seas Adventures– DiveQuest

Did you know that The Seas With Nemo and Friends Pavilion’s 5.7 million gallon saltwater environment is one of the largest indoor saltwater tanks in the world? This, along with the incredible marine life and calm waters, make it the perfect setting for a diving adventure! Guests who are SCUBA certified can explore the tank in a way that few guests ever get to from the inside. DiveQuest is truly a bucket list experience that should be on every ocean lover’s itinerary.
EPCOT Seas Adventures – Dolphins in the Deep

Those guests who are not SCUBA certified are not left out of the water fun! During “Dolphin In-Depth” you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with EPCOT’s fun-loving dolphins and get to know these lovable marine mammals first-hand from EPCOT’s expert trainers and handlers. The best part? You will actually spend 30 minutes of this 2 hour experience to the water with these incredible creatures!
Are you as excited as we are? We’ve done a lot of lovely extras at EPCOT over the years, including Behind the Seeds, but we’ve never done Dolphins in Depth. That sounds like a sign that it’s time to get in and make a splash! Reservations for these tours will begin on August 22, 2022.
