“Life, Liberty & Levin” host Mark Levin skewered the talking points of those who support the FBI raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home during his Sunday night monologue.

The FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida to retrieve allegedly classified documents earlier this month sparked fierce debate across the country. Levin suggested the attack was the weaponization of the Espionage Act and a cynical power play by Democrats in a way they would never use against their own allies.

“The Espionage Act is a wide net, but for some reason Hillary Clinton didn’t get caught in it, for some reason James Comey didn’t get caught, why? Democrats… Democrats,” he said.

He noted how Trump is considering a re-run for the presidency and suggested that the FBI’s attack on a future candidate therefore “is the greatest interference in our political system in American history.” .

He highlighted how many commentators condemned the election meddling and how they are all fake.

“They’re talking about insurrections, they’re talking about state legislatures, they’re talking about fake voters. Let me tell you one thing: This fake attorney general, this fake United States attorney in Washington DC, all of these fakes, they’re Democratic supporters masquerading as “law enforcement’ … that’s not what they are,” he said.

“Everything they do is intended to weaken the Republican Party, to weaken individuals associated with the Republican Party, to weaken grassroots people like parents, that’s what they’re there to weaken, they’re not going to weaken the Democratic Party. mob and militia that goes to the homes of Supreme Court justices in violation of federal law, how many of them have been prosecuted? Not a damn one of them,” he continued.

He also called out Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., as another example of a Democrat whose excesses were ignored. “You have Chuck Schumer, I don’t know, they searched his house, they took his text messages, they took his emails? He literally threatened two Supreme Court justices. What’s up with that?”

Schumer faced backlash after threatening Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh over how they ruled on an abortion case in 2020.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You’ve unleashed the maelstrom and you’re going to pay the price,” Schumer said at the time. “You won’t know what hit you if you go ahead with these terrible decisions.”

Chief Justice John Roberts reprimanded Schumer, calling her comments “inappropriate” and “dangerous.”

Levin claimed that the government’s search warrant of Trump’s home was an “unconstitutional” violation of the Fourth Amendment, suggesting that Democrats were making multiple moves to ensure that Republicans never regained power.

“They will do anything, go anywhere, look for anything, hit anyone to avoid it [Trump] to run for president,” he said.

He also added that Democrats will do anything to prevent Republicans from regaining control of Congress.

“[Democrats] they want to elect the Republican nominee in 2024 and they don’t want anyone like Donald Trump. No, no, no, it is too hard on the ruling class and the establishment”, he concluded.
