JAMES DENTON AND SHERRI SAUM ARE IN ‘PERFECT HARMONY,’ A NEW ORIGINAL RELEASING LATER THIS YEAR ON HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES

STUDIO CITY, CA – August 22, 2022 – James Denton (“Desperate Housewives,” “A Kiss Before Christmas”) and Sherri Saum (“The Fosters”) star in “Perfect Harmony,” a new original premiering this fall on Hallmark Movies. & mysteries. Sheppard Denton reunites with his father on screen for the first time since his debut role on Hallmark Channel’s “For Love and Honor” in 2016. Denton performs the original song “Ooh Wee Ooh” and Saum duets with him on ” Perfect Harmony,” ” also written especially for the film.
When mutual friends Jack Chandeller (Denton) and Barrett Woodward (Saum) Naomi (Julia Benson, “Seasoned with Love”) and Simon (Peter Benson, “Big Sky River”) are ready to tie the knot, they ask the couple let them be done Best man and maid of honor. Barrett is a buttoned up college professor. Jack, on the other hand, is a laid-back former pop star. They have been like oil and water since they met 10 years ago, but in order to support Naomi and Simon, they agree to put their differences aside. At the engagement party, Barrett is horrified to learn that Jack’s plan for the party music was nothing more than a playlist. She guilts him into acting, but he insists she join him on stage, much to the dismay of her son Teddy (Sheppard Denton), as Barrett is also his teacher. Jack and Barrett bring down the house with their duo and with that, the frost between them begins to thaw. As Jack and Barrett continue to spend time together before the wedding, they surprisingly find themselves getting along. Little by little, they begin to change their perceptions of each other and discover that they may be more in tune than either of them could have imagined.
