A body found in the woods near the 1-80 westbound off ramp 123
Pennsylvania State Police Clearfield are investigating a body found. On May 2, 2023, at approximately 10:25 am, a construction worker traveling on Hoopup Rd observed what appeared to be a body and reported it to PSP Clearfield. The body was found between Hoopup Road and I 80 in a wooded area near the westbound 123 ramp.
This incident is currently under investigation and more information will be released in the near future. The identity is currently unknown and when positively identified it will be made known after notification of the next of kin.
