Franklin County: A wrong-way driver crashed just over the Franklin County line from Pickaway County.
According to initial reports, around 1 a.m. Saturday, calls about a wrong-way driver going north in the southbound lanes came into the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. Officers were dispatched to intercept, but the driver crashed before law enforcement could stop the vehicle.
The crash happened just north of the Pickaway County line in Franklin County, but our dispatchers sent Pickaway units anyway. The injuries are currently unknown.
