Oklahoma City police are investigating after one person was injured following a shooting at a gas station Tuesday morning on the city’s southwest side.
Investigators said it happened around 7:20 a.m. near Southwest Grand Boulevard and South Walker Avenue.
The OCPD said the shooting started as a fight and the department believes everyone was a student. it is unknown if all were students at nearby Capitol Hill High School.
Officers said one person was injured, a 16-year-old student who suffered life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the shooting, Capito Hill High School has been placed on lockdown.
