According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one person is dead after a crash involving a vehicle mid-afternoon Wednesday in El Reno, Oklahoma.
El Reno police said they responded to the scene around 12:40 a.m. near East Highway 66 and South Radio Road.
Police said a sedan was traveling northbound on Radio Road when it failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed into the side of the semi.
The driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi tractor lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a ditch on the eastbound freeway.
The semi then caught fire and burned, but the driver escaped and was not injured.
Police have not yet identified the victim of this crash.
