According to a leaked secret letter dated 11 May 2023 by Dy Superintendent of Police (DSB) West Garo Hills, Tura, meetings are being held at various places in Garo Hills like Jadi, Nongal and Chalang to mobilize the young people to join. the dress.

The letter, which has been leaked on social media and is going viral, claims that nearly 500 youths have already been recruited and are being sent to Nagaland and Burma for basic training courses. It is also suspected that some prominent businessmen are helping the group to regroup.
