A 19-year-old woman was killed Saturday evening by a passing car while on a stretch of Interstate 275 north of Busch Boulevard in Hillsborough County, state troopers said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Palm Harbor teenager, who had been driving southbound, pulled his car onto the shoulder and then exited the road. She was hit shortly after 7pm by a car also heading south, and died at the scene.
