Torquay United AFC are delighted to announce that striker Bradley Ash has agreed a deal to join the Club, ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Having established himself as a prolific goalscorer at National League South level with the likes of Weston-Super-Mare, Chippenham Town and Weymouth, 27-year-old Bradley’s stock rose further last season, with his 24 strikes which helped drag his Weymouth side to NLS Safety. The Yellow Army will also be keenly aware of their past exploits, with Ash scoring a spectacular late equalizer in United’s 2-2 draw at Weston during United’s memorable 2018/19 title-winning campaign.
After starting his career with hometown club WSM, 14 goals in as many games prompted League One side Barnsley to secure his services, and although Ash failed to make much of a first-team breakthrough at that stage, a loaned return to the Somerset set saw him. scoring a further 19 goals in 34 subsequent games.
A permanent move to Boreham Wood, followed by spells at Hereford and Chippenham, preceded his move to Dorset to sign for the Terras, with United manager Gary Johnson now looking for his new shot-stopper to help lead the Gulls to another promotion next season.

“He is someone we know well. He gives us the character, enthusiasm, hard work and goal-scoring prowess we were looking for.”
