LYNN, Mass – A stabbing at Lynn Classical High School in Lynn prompted a large emergency response and lockdown Wednesday morning.
According to the Lynn Fire Department, crews responding to the high school at 235 Ocallaghan Way found a man suffering from apparent stab wounds.
The man was taken to Salem Hospital. There was no word on his condition.
It was not immediately clear whether the victim was a student or a teacher.
Officials said the school will remain on lockdown while police sweep the building, according to the Lynn mayor’s office.
Video from the scene showed several police cruisers parked on campus.
