Beginning this Memorial Day, The Marietta Times and The Parkersburg News and Sentinel will not publish print editions on the following six major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thank you and Christmas.
However, our newsroom will remain staffed both the day before and on the actual holiday. Breaking news and event coverage, local sports coverage and obituaries will still be managed and appear on our website on holiday mornings, and in print the day after the holiday.
