Rishi Sunak’s approval rating among voters has sunk to its lowest level in three months as Labor extended its lead in the polls over the Tories.
A May 28 Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll found 44 percent of voters disapproved of Sunak’s performance as prime minister, a three-point increase from last week, while 30 percent approved that didn’t change.
This gave the Prime Minister an approval rating of minus 14, which was his lowest rating since February 26, when he was minus 17. His worst rating was minus 22 on February 18.
In contrast, Sir Keir Starmer was in positive territory with an approval rating of plus eight. 37% of voters approved of his performance as Labor leader while 29% disapproved.
Meanwhile, Labour’s overall poll lead over the Conservatives has grown to 15 points, three points higher than last week. The poll puts Labor at 43 percent, up one point, and the Conservatives at 28 percent, down two points.
